Gift Card Policy

E-Gift Cards Terms and Conditions

Fashion Brazil e-Gift Cards can be purchased online at www.fashionbrazil.co.nz (the "Website"). The person purchasing the e-Gift Card is referred to as the "Contributor." The e-Gift Card must be used no later than 12 months from the date of purchase. Once purchased, the e-Gift Card will be sent to the nominated email address, and both the date and email address cannot be changed.

1. E-Gift Cards Availability
You can purchase e-Gift Cards in denominations of NZD $25, $50, $100, $150, and $250 on our website. E-Gift Cards can only be redeemed for purchases at our online store.

2. Delivery
E-Gift Cards are sent to the email address provided by the Contributor upon purchase. Please ensure the email address entered is correct as it cannot be changed after the transaction

3. Promotions and Discounts
The purchase of e-Gift Cards is excluded from any ongoing sales, promotions, or discounts. E-Gift Card purchases do not contribute to loyalty program balances or rewards points.

4. Validity
E-Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After the expiry date, the e-Gift Card will no longer be valid, and any remaining balance will be forfeited to Fashion Brazil.

5. Redemption
E-Gift Cards can only be redeemed for merchandise at our online store. They cannot be redeemed for cash withdrawals or refunds. Using an e-Gift Card is treated as a cash transaction.

6. Limitations and Restrictions

  • E-Gift Cards are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards, or securities.
  • The balance of multiple e-Gift Cards cannot be combined onto a new e-Gift Card.
  • E-Gift Cards can only be used to purchase merchandise from our online store.
  • E-Gift Cards may not be redeemed for cash or used for any purpose other than purchases on the Website.

7. Card Balance 

  • The balance of your e-Gift Card is available for use in full or in part until it expires.
  • No change will be provided for any unused balance.
  • If the total value of your purchase exceeds the balance of the e-Gift Card, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method.

8. Lost or Stolen Cards
Treat your e-Gift Card like cash. If your e-Gift Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, we cannot issue a replacement, and the card’s value will not be refunded. Fashion Brazil is not responsible for e-Gift Cards obtained or used by the wrong person or if the wrong email address is used by the Contributor, unless due to Fashion Brazil's fault.

9. Expiry
The e-Gift Card will expire 12 months from the date of purchase, with the expiration date shown on the card. Any remaining balance will be void after the expiry date, and no refunds will be issued for unused balances.

10. Balance Inquiries
You can check the balance of your e-Gift Card by logging into your account on our Website

 

11. How to redeem your e-Gift Card
At checkout, enter the e-Gift Card code in the "Discount code or Gift Card" section and click "apply." You can copy and paste the code from the confirmation email you received.

12. Your Privacy 
By providing us with information about yourself or any other person, you must be authorized to do so, and you agree to comply with our privacy policy.

We reserve the right to cancel any e-Gift Card or the e-Gift Card program for any reason at any time without notice. If this occurs, the balance on all valid e-Gift Cards will be refunded to the holder upon request.

Subject to any rights you may have under applicable law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act, all e-Gift Cards are sold on a no-refund, no-exchange, and no-cancellation basis.

Gift Card Law in New Zealand
Please note that, as per the Fair Trading (Gift Card Expiry) Amendment Act 2024, from 16 March 2026, all gift cards sold to consumers in New Zealand will have a minimum validity period of three years.

This new law will not apply to the gift cards purchased before 16 March 2026, which will remain subject to the validity period outlined in our current policy.
