How to measure Activewear

Bust

Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your bust. The tape should be flat but not too snug. For sports bra  breathe deeply, relax and measure around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat all the way around but not too tight.

Waist

Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a half centimeter of slack.

Hips

To achieve the most accurate hip measurement, find the widest point of your hips and place the measuring tape around. The hip bone often isn’t the widest point – it’s one to two inches lower, where your butt is at its fullest.

Note: Please keep in mind that the high quality supplex used in the making of our activewear is extremely stretchable. This makes it possible in some cases for the same person to be able to fit into all three sizes (P-M-G), depending only on how you like it to fit (tighter with more support or a little looser).

How to measure Swimwear

Here are some useful size charts to help you get the right fit in your swimwear

Measure your waist and hips and compare to the size chart below. If you are between two sizes, we suggest selecting the larger size. XS-XL sizes correspond to the numerical sizing on this chart. To get the most accurate measurements, have someone else measure you. Be sure to hold the measuring tape straight and snug, not tight, to your body.

Bust

Measure over the fullest part of your bust, with the tape measure parallel to the floor. This measurement will assist you in determining your swimwear or clothing size for tops and dresses.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hip, before the thigh begins to narrow. This measurement will help you determine your size for bikini bottoms, skirts, pants, and form-fitting dresses.

Size hints:

Please note that the Brazilian bikinis run small. If you want to wear them as the models in the pictures and as the Brazilians do, please choose your own size. If you want to cover more of your body, please choose a larger size. The bikinis are made with LYCRA fibers so they will stretch when worn.

The most common reason for a size exchange is because customers need a larger size.

If your size falls between two sizes, we strongly recommend that you choose the larger of the sizes.
